Snow White and the Huntsmen (2012) - dir. Rupert Sanders
If I were Rupert Sanders I would be very satisfied with this film. It was exactly as good as it should have been. It had everything: action, drama, horror, comedy, soap-opera caliber acting. It was a decent little take on a famous story. The plot was above average, the acting below, but what did it for me were the effects. Oddly enough, I’m never one to mind special effects but rarely do they do it for me…. but the art behind the effects was beautiful here. It was imaginative in both a cinematographic and a sinister way. Kristen Stewart, by the way, not nearly pretty enough to be Snow White.
