A question from my friend and fellow cinephile Jared (check out his blog, it’s straight-dope) For All Mankind (1989) - I will definitely watch this. I’m one of those silly people that’s still uncertain if we actually landed on the moon. The Criterion Collection - It’s a cool thing. I own about a hundred blu-rays and four are Criterion so take that as you will. Just because they slap their name on it doesn’t make me any more interested in the material, but I am glad they exist. I had no idea Armageddon is in there. They’re an odd group that I won’t pretend to understand.

  1. drewclouse said: they actually released 2001 as a laserdisc back in the day. But I don’t think they have the DVD or Blu-Ray rights which is a pretty big reason why stuff isn’t in there.
