The Men Who Stare at Goats (2009) - dir. Grant Heslov

A Coen brother knockoff from the producer of Good Night, and Good Luck. - and there’s really nothing too original about it. It’s a mediocre adaptation of a mediocre novel. Sure, it’s got an all-star cast but you’ve already seen Clooney, Bridges, McGregor & Spacey are all essentially reprising previous roles. And yes, it’s way too silly for its own good.

BUT! It’s hysterical. Start to finish. Plus there’s something beautiful about watching Obi-Wan Kenobi make fun of everyone who claims themselves to be a Jedi.
